That's the equivalent to saying Korea has some of the highest suicide rates in the world, their obsession with beauty has become criminal to the point that plastic surgery has become a norm, that the housing bubble in SK is definitely going to pop soon, the unemployment rate of young adults is absurdly high within SK, the ridiculous amount of unregulated corruption that happens within the SK government, the list goes on.

European media portray America worse than it actually is, they have always done that though. It doesn't change the indisputable fact that America is a super power, that attracts not only the most talented and brightest minds of the world, but generally has the best educational institutions / research as well as scientific breakthroughs.

It only pays to be rich / well educated / and successful in America. Your quality of life and experiences in America greatly vary based on these factors.
