I’m not a huge Hannah fan - I think she’s immature, picks unnecessary fights, and probably isn’t the best chief stew ever (in terms of decorating, going above and beyond, etc). BUT, I really don’t understand why, every single season, there is this narrative where the 2nd and 3rd stews complain that Hannah is lazy and doesn’t work as hard as they do. Of COURSE she doesn’t. She is the boss. That’s the whole point of working your way up the ranks. You pay your dues and then you don’t have to do the most menial tasks anymore. The manager of a restaurant isn’t the one cleaning the toilets. The CEOs of companies aren’t the ones doing coffee runs. I just don’t understand why all these entry level workers think their boss, with years more experience than they have, should be busting her ass in the same exact way they are.
