I worked on the bookstore warehouse. Basically stocking the textbooks in the store, processing orders, preparing books and merchandise to be shipped or picked up, unpacking textbooks and merch, etc. It was nice and convenient since I was on campus the entire day, they work around your schedule.

You can develop a pretty close friendships with a few coworkers. I was hired during the summer and trained to prepare for fall since it's really busy during the start of the school year. After a couple of months, it's possible to be let go since it's not as busy anymore since students are constantly buying textbooks. It was also nice not having to deal with customers since warehouse hires stay in the back majority of the time.
