Nothing absolutely insane other than the massive gangs of pick pocketers. Escape was my first massive event and of course right as I’m done coming up (and smoke right after) me and my friend first notice a super sketchy guy getting closer and closer behind someone else in our group. Make eye contact with him, have our friend move, nbd. About 5 minutes later, the sketchiest people are all around us. I know I’m not supposed to be judgemental and shit but being from my background, I know how to spot people on some criminal shit lmao. Dudes in all black some in masks whispering to each other pointing at all the people rolling the hardest. I literally saw someone passing off a backpack. I’m upset I was so fucked up that I couldn’t say anything but maybe it was for the better because idk if I was tweaking that hard but as soon as I let my friends know we were in some sketchy shit, I def started to get that “shut the fuck up or you’re gonna get fucked up look” from a few of them.

tl;dr these pickpockets are well coordinated and scary motherfuckers. It sucks getting something stolen but if you find yourself in the same situation don’t get hurt or worse trying to be a hero. These dudes do not care.
