AOTY chances

I think the nominees will be:

Other albums with very strong nomination chances:

Token Country Album
Bruno Mars - 24k Magic
Luis Fonsi if he drops an album featuring Despacito and a lot of Grammy friendly English language guest singers before September 30
Taylor if she drops before September 30 (but she definitely won't)
Ariana if she drops before then

Albums with medium chances:

Albums with low chances

Paramore (sadly won't be in the running, but I do think Fake Happy has a good chance to be a much bigger hit than Hard Times, maybe even equal to Ain't it Fun, and could get record/song nominations)
Lana (Love has a good shot in Record/Song though, and Lust... for best collab- they need to push these songs very hard, and forget about a nom for the album except, hopefully, in the pop category)
Kesha (some of the songs could be nominated, but the album doesn't have the necessary promotion, and critical approval is not unanimous enough to overcome that)
Chainsmokers (they'll be in some big categories, AOTY is not one of them)
Anything indie-related that isn't FJM or Fleet Foxes (I could see Everything Now being up for song/record of the year, but not album, and possibly not even best rock or alt album)
Anything non-English-language that isn't Despacito related (I think it would be interesting if Despacito gets a large number of noms- that would be unprecedented in itself because the Grammys usually overlook any non English music, putting Spanish speaking artists into the Latin Grammys and not honoring them in the main Grammys).
