Applying to Canadian schools as a US Citizen

Hey- I'm from Toronto!

Typically most applicants do have a good shot at UofT (for me, it's a safety/target) and it's an incredible school. With a 3.91 on the US scale, your grades are definitely in range for UofT. UofT has a lot of Major Awards (merit based partial scholarships,) which I believe to be open to students from all countries. I think you have to apply for some, but not for others. Either way, once you apply and login to your UofT portal, they should give you the opportunity to apply for awards. The Canadian and American applications are fairly similar, but Canada is a lot more marks based, only certain programs require essays/EC lists (I think UofT needs supps only for engineering and for university college applications.)

If you have any other questions about UofT or Canadian applications, message me!
