Everyone here is missing my point. I’m saying that there’s nothing wrong with learning a song through tabs in the beginning. Hell there’s nothing wrong with it if u wanna learn it now, I’m saying u have to develop ur ear on top of learning tabs as well. Tabs are a good starting point and a quick way to learn songs. And if u have a good knowledge of the fret board and ur abilities to pick out notes then u can easily adjust to different keys. I’ve done it many times with songs I needed to learn fast. For beginners it isn’t the only thing they should do but it’s a good starting point. It doesn’t mean that’s all ur gonna rely on and it shouldn’t be. Tabs are bad when it’s all you have, but if u have the technique, u have the ear, u have all of that then there’s nothing wrong with it. Idk y everyone is so against tabs e
