Why are gas prices still at about $1 per liter?

I'm not "licking Doug Ford's boots." Grow up, for fuck's sakes.

The other 90 cents comes from factors that I listed elsewhere:

Plant and equipment, refining costs, transportation of the crude and refined products, sales tax, carbon tax, regulatory compliance costs, labour costs and payroll taxes at all levels of the supply chain, all the way down to the lease on the gas station and the operating costs of that business.

So, in regard to the poster who's question I was answering (and not you in the peanut gallery) by your own admission:

Which is 10 cents per litre and 4 cents per litre on diesel

The price of gas would be $0.10 per liter cheaper if not for the carbon tax. Ford removed cap-and-trade, thus reducing the cost of gasoline. The Trudeau Liberals raised it. Those are facts, not "boot licking."
