East Asian Americans have a grim situation. Chinese immigration is dropping like a rock, Korean immigration dropped like a rock 10 years ago, while Vietnamese immigration doesn't seem to be taking off. The new immigration bill massively benefits Indians at the expense of other Asians. You might think that Indians identify as Asian, but many are BJP fascists ala Namaste Trump and Howdy Modi. They call Asians chini, just FYI.

There were Indian flags waved alongside Confederate and FLG flags at the Trump protests. The new school Indian immigrants are much more likely than older ones to support Republicans and the white working class, while the Democrats have the solid support of the blacks/Hispanics and white middle class. East Asians are the odd ones out with weakening demographics.
