[Asman] According to @McClain_on_NFL , if the #Texans decide to trade Deshaun Watson it would be to the #Jets

None of us know what was promised or what has been said behind closed doors. I'm just a Jets fan who has been following this case. I'm not fabricating anything. I'm summarizing what I've read. Articles that were written by national reporters and reporters in Houston who have sources inside the organization. This is a team that had glorified youth pastor Jack Easterby--who somehow worked his way up from New England Patriots' team chaplain to Executive VP of Football Operations for the Texans in a matter of a couple of years--interview Josh McCown for a HEAD COACH position last month. Jamey Rootes, who built the business side of the operation from the ground up, starting before the team had even played a single snap, abruptly resigned yesterday. That's not something that happens if everything is going smoothly behind the scenes. Would you describe Rootes as "some diva executive" who is pissed off because he doesn't like how the organization is being run? Do you somehow believe that multiple reporters, from dozens of publications, have conspired to create this narrative that Watson is so upset about recent decisions made by the team that he also wants out?
