I don't believe in gnosts, magic, pixies, or big foot. I think life elsewhere in the universe is plausible - I don't see why this planet has any special properties not found anywhere else in the universe plus we have a very limited understanding what life can be. I don't know if there are UFO's or intelligent life (as opposed to bacteria) but it's possible. I don't believe in it but it's possible.

I think if you question is if I believe something not empirically testable then I have some unexplained beliefs which are confusing. I'll start by saying they are extremely personal - I have no explanation or reason for them but it's simply a fact for me. From time to time, I get a small snippet of the future. It's very detailed, very explicit, and it's confirmed by reality. I used to record these instances and basically it went like this:

• while I'm sleeping, I have a very brief but powerful burst of imagery. It usually lasts a second or so and it's typically a few seconds but sometimes a minute of time.
• I wake up and I still remember it. I used to write it down with detail and date.
• Later in life, typically months and sometimes years later, that exact event happens. I go back to the note and read it to confirm.

Here is one very explicit example: I had a dream in 2001 where I was in the passenger seat, being driven at night down a long hill, stopping at a highway, turning right to a narrow road, and being driven alongside the highway for a block and stopping.

I had no idea where this was and it was unfamiliar to me. In addition, I'm not known for being driven anywhere, certainly late at night, and I don't know of any highways with roads right next to them. Later that year, I moved to another state and I found a stable job in late 2002. I was looking for an apartment and the apartment hunter picked me up after work, at night, and drove me right to that hill in a town I've never been in, going down to that same highway, turning right to a road alongside that highway and going a block until the apartment building where I lived for a few years.

I have no explanation, I can't prove it to anyone, for all you know I could be lying. I have no supernatural properties or super duper powers. I just know it happened and I confirmed it for myself. I get these from time to time but no more than a few times a year and it's often not important. For example, I had one a few months back about writing a particular email to a particular person I haven't talked with in years about a new business she's starting. So it wasn't some general "I need to get in touch with her" but it was on a very specific topic.

So yes, it's strange and unexplainable. It's not quite The Matrix and it can't be de ja vu since pretty much all these "visions" are things I haven't done before because of how specific they are. Also, sorry people, no lottery numbers.

I guess I wrote a ton but the point is... no explanation, can't convince anyone, and I don't try, but yes, I believe in some goofy stuff that happens.
