"Avengers: Endgame" Discussion Thread - SPOILERS ALLOWED

Yes, all the women are bad asses, I'm not disputing that. But if you don't think Disney/Marvel have an agenda you are very naive. This was a very specifically crafted scene. Is it a scene we need in the context of the film? Or is it to encourage young girls that superheroes are not just men, and they can be included and powerful?

What I'm saying is there is an agenda behind it, which is completely separate from the story. And hey, it's a good agenda. But the correct way to do it is fully fleshing them out and having the story serve a purpose, rather than them just "being women". Black Widow got that treatment, and hopefully more women will be given the same respect going forward.
