Yeah I agree. In another comment I posted I actually had acute pancreatitis and it was no joke, 2 weeks in the hospital, alcohol related.

What I fear is if he was depressed, if he went through a binge and his already fragile system failed, he could have been alone and passed away. But I don’t want to speculate on someone’s death, feels wrong.

I’m curious though with so many people jumping on the alcohol drugs theory, Oman doesn’t allow alcohol as far as I know and has very strict drug policies. The alcohol law may be more relaxed for tourists but I find it hard to believe it would be easy to get a lot, and bringing drugs into the country, knowing their laws, is foolish at best and incredibly serious if caught.
