Because of how short of a leash he was already on after being arrested 4 times, going to rehab twice, and clearly having an out of control alcoholism problem. A restructure that allowed the team to cut him if he did ANYTHING else wrong.

A FIFTH ARREST IS SOMETHING WRONG AND IN CLEAR VIOLATION OF THE CONTRACT RESTRUCTURE HE AGREED TO THAT ALLOWS THE TEAM TO RELEASE HIM WHENEVER THEY WANT
