Backyard photography - Leaves

What was your Intent for taking the photo?

My intent was to try and capture a well-composed photo in my backyard and allowing myself only one shot per subject.

Why did you take this photo?

To try and get an interesting photo on a whim in an area I wouldn’t normally shoot.

What were you trying to show to the viewer?

That interesting photographs can be taken anywhere.

Are there areas you are struggling with?

Not really on this particular shot, but I am open to any feedback relating to color, composition, etc. The only edits I made were small crop and I adjusted the lighting and texture to bring out the veins in the leaves. This is really close to the natural color and at first, I was going to bump the contrast to make the leaves stand out even more, but when comparing the two it didn't look natural (but on its own it kind of looked cool).
