Banks cards stolen, called TD to cancel cards, they did not, now my account is empty. What now?

Who said I hated them? They are the worst bank in the country from my experience. Highest fees, terrible online platform, behind in technology (eg. they need to send wires between their US based accounts to the Canadian based accounts even if the same customer owns both), they intentionally coded their banking software to penalize their customers with fees (eg. if automatic CC payments are set up, TD will always pull the full amount owed regardless if the CHQ/SAV account can’t cover it, which forces a $45 fee; this can be prevented with a simple IF statement javascript, aka it’s intentional), they are very cumbersome with wire transfers compared to the other banks (don’t save templates), and I could go on.

Advising OP to just choose another bank. There is NO reason anyone should only be using TD when there are much better alternatives.
