The internet is not real life.

I'd like to support what realFoobanana said:

The internet and "real life" (a better term is "physical world") are both experiences that are real. People fake things and troll in both worlds - they'll do certain things when they think they can get away with it. This principle is the same in both worlds. It's just easier to do in cyberspace (the Internet).

If a friend sends you an invite via the Internet to an event like a concert, isn't the Internet as a tool directly affecting your "physical world" and playing a role in "real life", just as much as if you used a calculator for hours in the "physical world" to do your mathematics homework?

Just food for thought. :)

Therefore, both physical world and cyberspace (the Internet, itself being a tool) are a part of "real life".
