Being kicked out at 18 need advice ASAP

Yes jobs are shitty if you pick a shitty degree. A lot of degrees are dumb so this contributes to this statistic a lot. There aren’t many doctors or engineers who would say that their jobs are shitty. Not getting a good degree gives you a life obligation which is a lot worse than a financial one. I’m gonna take a shot in the dark and say that you are working a shitty job because you chose a shitty degree so that’s why you think this. This is such a dangerous mentality to preach to kids.

Op please don’t get a fucking trade job lmao, it might be ok in your 20s but you’ll be fucked by 30. There’s been so much promotion of trade jobs which is from the rich business men who own the companies that need trades ppl to work for them. The “great pay” which is at very best around 100k annually comes at a great cost, a cost of becoming handicapped or developing lung cancer by 40. In trades more money = shittier job. He doesn’t need a trade job, if he’s actually passionate about software development he can get a job as a software engineer that pays well over 100k and is an actual enjoyable non-slave job.
