This is absolutely sickening, one of my favorite stories of all time will never end and one of greatest manga artists gone too soon.

We all imagine how things could have played out when it comes to things we like whether it be a better ending than the one we got or how we would have the story play out. For Berserk one of my most favorite manga ever my head canon was always this: 2012 we get a good studio to animate Berserk Black Swordsman and Golden Age, then 2016 we get Conviction, and 2017 Millennium Falcon with nothing left out and no censorship. I've always imagined it would catch up to the manga with 2020 Fantasia and I always wrack my brain on what would be a good stopping point. Unfortunately now I know how I would have had a hypothetical ending to the Berserk reboot anime, it will end with Casca approaching Guts as his new friends and Skull Knight look on, both Guts and Casca embrace with happy tears in their eyes as the credits roll.
