The Big 5 Martini Bar - July 08, 2019

Going to take you up on a free Martini. I've got a long history with CannTrust. Looking through my trading history right now.

Bought $7.60 (2017) Sold $8.13 (2017)

Bought $9.00 and $8.90 (2017) Sold $9.20 (2018)

Bought $6.17 (2018) Sold $10.45 (2019) - Was $11-13 range the day prior. Sold the day the financials came out most recently when it dropped 20% that day.

Recently bought @ $7.79 & $6.53 Sold today @ $5.00.

Happy to have ridden it up during the up trends and to have been out during the down trends. Not beating myself up for the loss today, I see it as an unknown risk. Just like WMD getting $10M from Canopy for the Hiku merger not going through like an unknown upside. Still not sure what to think about the last quarter results however, or not reacting to the last round of funds being raised (I thought of it at the time as a neutral event that didn't really affect fundamental values. Maybe I have the wrong evaluations on my spreads though..)

In retrospect I'm pretty happy with how this has all played out. Definitely gone from a trader mindset and been learning an investor mindset through my history with this stock. Working now to see if I can pinpoint a potential price to re-enter. Got to redo all my sheets and forms now. Not sure how to re-evaluate TRST right now. It's a really exciting challenge now.

The APHA short was easy, nothing changed fundamentally, so the short attack just made amazing entry points. Was confident to pull the trigger and buy. Nowhere near confident enough to know when to pull the trigger, if ever, and buy TRST.
