this is my tweet and i understand the struggles of older trans people. however they are not the only ones with unique issues. me using the term “fem-presenting afab” is specific to the context of my tweet, but regardless of this i seem to have invited a wave of people ignoring the fact i also wrote -enby- because they do not see enbys like myself as valid. they assume i have no dysphoria because they think there is nothing to be dysphoric about, but once again they think this because they ignore the fact i am ENBY.

fem, masc and androgyny are all on a spectrum, fem does not equal a woman just as not all women are fem and vice-versa. so why is it impossible to acknowledge that an enby person, regardless of their agab and the way they present, might be dysphoric about their BODY. i do not present fem because i want to look like a woman, i present fem because i like feminine things. and even after my top surgery, i will continue to present fem.

it seems to me that for most transmeds its not even about medically & surgically transitioning or having dysphoria but instead being binary to the point where they have bind androgyny to NON-BINARIES.
