Blind Reaction to The Owl House season 2 finale aka The Collector's True Form!!!

Oh shoot I missed COTH and this episode!! People have already talked about a lot of the stuff you mentioned in the reaction, so I'll just comment on a couple things you said at the end.

Where the hell do we go from here?

My (very speculative) prediction is that in the first episode of S3, the kids will see these statues in town and start researching how Philip and Caleb got to the BI without a portal. There's a lot of things that an episode like this could tie into:

  • Obviously, the gang needs a way back to the BI without a portal, so it'll be relevant in their goal.
  • We might also get a clearer version of the brothers' backstory for viewers who missed the backgrounds in Hollow Mind (which, let's be honest, is probably most viewers). It could be delivered directly by Gus from the memories he saw, or could be in a series of flashbacks, or maybe a combination of both.
  • With the backstory reveals, Hunter might have to finally tell the others that he's a grimwalker.
  • Then there's the Belos goo situation. If the episode already covers Belos then it's not a stretch that he might get directly involved too. I have no idea what would actually happen with him though.

Really I just want to see Caleb properly onscreen and talking, he seems like a great guy :')

As for what might happen after the first episode, I think it's pretty much a given that the Collector will be redeemed/"pacified" somehow. The show has put a lot of focus on sympathizing with them, and their main motivations only being loneliness and boredom. Looks like Eda's got another kid to adopt /hj

Luz and co are back in the human realm but what can they do now? Find a way back? Maybe King can find a way? Or Eda?

There's definitely a few ways they could go back. King could probably open a portal with his blood. Or, the show has talked a bit about how portals sometimes appear naturally from the Titan's blood, so the gang could find one of those (in a similar way to how Lilith found time pools, maybe?).

Anyway, whew, sorry for the walls of text! It's so weird to not have another reaction post to anticipate, haha. These have been a lot of fun and I'll miss checking back for new ones.
