Brock encountered a wild Dugtrio!

And that is the point right there.

What if people said the same things about your "menial" problems and issues?

What I'm trying to say is that, what exactly is acting gay? I hardly thing those guys are acting gay. I think they are acting silly. It's like...when guys say "no homo" when a straight guy complimenting another straight guy. This society that frowns upon male bonding yet has no problems with lesbians. Hot lesbians, I may add. Because if you're a bull dyke, forget it, you're a bull dyke.

Saying that it's brave to be gay is like a back handed compliment. Imagine me saying "you're fat? I think you're so brave to be fat in a society that ridicules fat people. I act fat on the weekends lol"

And yes, I did go through your post history to see and understand who would voice these opinions that you're voicing. We're not dissimilar, I just have been around longer. And trust me, you'll see the ugly side of the world where little comments like that mean a lot more than what they seem. I really do mean it when I say that those people in that thread who down vote me and tell me they're rolling their eyes are probably the same people who pick on kids who "act gay" or at the very least, never say a thing.

And I was one of those kids who was picked on. Not that I'm asking for sympathy for that in particular.

I apologize too for the things I said but for what it's worth I did try to start out nice and just say that perhaps we should just think about what we say. It's the lack of empathy that is more concerning in that thread.

I said my feelings were kinda hurt and all I got was dismissal. What if you encountered that when you posted in /r/depression?

Yeah I shouldn't get my panties in a bunch for menial things. And I don't. This is not menial to me, even if no one agrees.
