There can be an external force, or a nonliving factor that caused that whale mass grave. example can be a volcanic eruption in the ocean that killed hybernating whale pack, a mass grave of whales doesn't mean they became extinct. another can be climate change due to external forces, sun explosions and radiations, meteors and impact radiation. And about the algal bloom, as which we can observe today are impacts of man's doing. And just like what I said, algal bloom is only natural, they can destroy some natural habitats and life, but it is still balance. They are not programmed to abuse, animals are not programmed to abuse.

If you claim a God/Divine causal agent as proof, be prepared to meet the burden of proof (though feel free to start with the claims already inherent within your post).
