Can an Accountant or Accounting Student answer some questions for my Highschool project?

1) How and why did you choose this career?

I chose this career because I was originally majoring in Japanese and you can't do anything with it except teach English. So I wanted to find a career where I can utilize Japanese and do some sort of professional career that is somewhat respected.

2) What is a typical “Day in Your Work Life” like?

Office at 8:15am. I'm a first year so no one else really follows the 8:30am start time. So I usually turn on the lights.

We have a lot of downtime when I first started so I literally just looked at PY 3) What are the most and least rewarding aspects of your job? 4) What are the working conditions like (Stress, Pace, Physical Comfort, Travel, Environment, Relocation, Hours, Routine vs. Crisis, etc.)? 5) What education requirements, college degrees, licenses are needed for your career? What Colleges do you recommend for pursuing an education leading to this occupation? 6)What are the most important skills and abilities required (Creativity, Emotional Distancing, Emotional Involvement, Language/Communication, Manual Dexterity, Leadership, Physical Ability, Persistence, Social Skills, Time Management, Logic/Reasoning, Negotiation, etc.)? 7)What High School and College courses have you found to be most applicable/important for your occupation? 8)Would you choose this career if you could make the decision again? What (if anything) would you do differently? 9) What do you wish you knew (but didn’t) when you first contemplated this career? 10) What is the Outlook for this career?
