I can defend this game because I enjoy it and I know others do too but I can’t defend Bethesda’s recent corporate decisions.

The more I play it, the harder it is to defend it. Not being able to get into vaults is a serious let down. I was able to forgive the majority of locations having little to no depth in terms of a history(story), but vaults are suppose to be staples in fallout games in terms of lore and you can't even access them. The tedium of the game is unbearable. When you never feel rewarded in the game, bugs have a far greater impact on your perception of the game. Repeatedly logging into a blast zone was the straw that broke the camels back for me. I reached triple digit level and explored 90% of the map prior to quitting. My final analysis of the game is that it's very underwhelming. Even the pre-order bonus, fallout 2, is turning out to be a far more enjoyable experience.
