Walk around it works unless you're in a wheelchair. These things really do present problems. My dog hurt her ankle on one parked right smack in the way out of our front door a few months ago when she ran outside...it cut her open and bled quite a bit. We didn't even have a second to see it there before it happened because it was so immediately in front of where you'd exit. Another one was parked lying down the line extending into two parking spots in my apartment lot two weeks ago. I almost ran over it. I had to lug it (heavy and beeping loudly) about 20 feet to put it somewhere appropriate to park it. It was record heat outside, but I did it because it was just going to fuck up somebody's car when they eventually ran over it.
