Can someone explain the mechanics of Nioh 2?

but after Irythill they made the game harder at least till where I am right now ( Research Hall).

you mean Grand Archives?

Many of these questions could be found while searching this sub.

  1. Combat in this game is absolutely better than souls game. It is the main selling points of the game, similar to DMC.
  2. Yes. But in ng+ for armor set. You can grind boss skill in ng, not recommend.
  3. Similar to ds3. Exp, currency dont really matter in ng.
  4. Depends on you. You can play it either way. No.
  5. Staring area (1st map to 3rd map) is hard for new players. Then the rest is handled well.
  6. Combat. Boss fight. Fashion.
  7. Linear maps not interconnected, there are some hidden colletables and puzzles, nothing crazy like in Archdragon Peak
  8. Depends on you. Combat is never boring. But if u prefer exploration or souls game, not for u.

Would you suggest the game game to someone who enjoyed DS3, BloodBorne, Sekiro

If u expect another souls game and dont want to change some habbit learned from soulsborne, no.

If u want to change your habbit and use the experence you learn from souls (dealing with dying, learning boss fight.etc) to have a enjoable experience, yes
