Can this subreddit community do something about...

You cant seem to find the words to convey your frustration, so you just give up.

Then don't come here, what the hell.

When did i say anything bad about the site? You draw some weird conclusions.

if you don't think there's diversity on reddit and that we're all the same, you can go to some other place

Im saying there isnt enough diversity to put all your trust in toprated comments.

I don't consider the multi-million user base of reddit to be small

You put faith in this site because millions visit it. Which is true, just as the fact that it isnt in the top 30 most visited sites. Why do you get so angry over me saying that? You think admitting this is somehow detrimental to your time here? Im merely outlining the fact that toprated comments more often than not add nothing to a conversation. Again; Murder is bad. -Yes it is.

... Okay and then? Now what? Thats it right...? Boring.

This is precisely why you cant seem to grasp my opinion on high rated comments:

... and I'm saying that the comparison is pointless because no-one would ever have anything to discuss beyond that.

Because i want to discuss things beyond that. I like a conversation between, for instance, people opposed to the dead penalty and those that advocate for one. Theres always something to discuss. Discussing things is fun, its why i use Reddit. I have multiple accounts so people cant turn this into a personal vendetta. And i like to be able to ditch accounts if personal life interferes.

You read my comment, drew the wrong conclusions, and are now 'done with me'. Basically the equivalent of 'cool story bro'. Thats nice. I have to say, and not to be rude, but if you actually read my comment, instead of just skimmed over it like you can do with toprated ones, you wouldnt have said this:

Sorry, but you spend way too much time discussing this with me.

Perhaps you should put me on ignore. If a few minutes of your life typing a comment is 'too much time', im sorry to have bothered you so much. My sincere apologies.
