The people requesting this don't want just the agency. They want an opportunity to have it done by professionals.
Suicide being previously illegal has nothing to do with this issue. The fact is people are requesting MAID now regardless of any past or present illegality. If it were equivalent to suicide, this wouldn't be something people are requesting.
I am not arguing this isn't a type of suicide. It's not equivalent to suicide though. An apple is a type of fruit. That doesn't make apple = fruit.
I'm denying that the government has any business approving or denying it in the first place. Have you failed at reading LITERALLY, EVERY, SINGLE, comment I have made here?

Government denies people access to MAID.
Government allows people access to MAID.
