I met Coco Peru and she could not have been more lovely-she was wonderful to my son who adores her, and even brought him a present! She was amazingly gracious and kind to everyone, even people who just walked up to her while she was on the floor. Trixie was the same way. Even when she was walking to go to her talk, etc, she was so kind and talked to everyone and made eye contact-was just lovely. A lot of the queens were not that way at all. They would not make eye contact or respond when they were on the floor. They were either "on" when signing or definitely not on and accessible. That said, the ones that really were kind and open were Phi-Phi, Delta, Darienne, Coco, Chad, Ongina, (She was SUCH a sweetie, and looked so good!) Jessica, Tati, Gia, Tempest, and Mrs. Kasha Davis. (Some of those were not my favorite before-but I was so impressed with the way they interacted with every one and how warm they were)
Pandora had stank face for days and seemed totally unapproachable. I was going to tell her I loved her, but decided to hell with it.
I felt really bad for Mimi, she was such a sweetie and so nice and people were just ignoring her. I thought she looked great and was really warm.
Tati is SO PRETTY. Raja looked-I hate to say it since I ain't that young-old and kind of rough to me. She was very funny though. I was standing there when she said she had to take a break from signing and she said, "Sorry, got to go" and made a smoking a joint gesture. La Ganja was really nice, and a WORKHORSE. She stood there all day, and had great energy. Michelle Visage is SO PRETTY and SO TINY. I swear, her waist is the size of my arm. Latrice is such a big person, and such a big personality, she could fill a room. ( not like you didn't know that) I also thought her skin and makeup were beautiful. Chad is SO TALL. (I don't know why I never thought she was?) Larry Edwards looks exactly like Tina Turner-It was scary. Mariah is GORGEOUS and her figure was the all time best of the day, I thought. The lighting there was atrocious. I loved how Coco Peru kept referring to it in her talk.Next year they need to be kinder to the queens and find a place with low lighting. Everyone looks shitty in fluorescent light.I was actually surprised by how small the whole thing was, and how easy it was to meet people and chat.
