The case for BS3 before BS2

I read the TMM but decided after doing the math that I need more savings. So I'm on BS2 but simultaneously saving a BS3 FFEF, which for me would be 9.000 euro. After that I want to save to buy a house too. Since the rules for getting a mortgage are getting more strict each year in my country and the prices are though the roof, I will need to have more of a buffer. My only debt is a government issued student loan of ~12K, with an 0.001% interest for the next 5 years. I would have the next 11 years to pay that off, if I only paid the minimum. But off course I won't. I'm also saving up to pay off some big chunks along the way and project I will be done in about 36 months. The house fund will be well in place by then. In case another housing crisis ensues I'll be able to buy a house for a lot less. If not, then I will have big enough fund to buy a house anyway.
