[Question] What does youtube deem as hate speech

I don't think youtube wants people to share political views.

Well you can, but advertisers are going to typically shy away from it. Youtube is just promoting the videos they feel advertisers would most want to throw money at. So Dreamworks may not wanna throw money at you to promote their new Shrek movie if your videos are mostly about highly controversial opinions. It's not really them taking sides, it's them not wanting to be a part of the conversation in the first place. It's safer for them to peddle middle-of-the-road content, since there isn't really any manual vetting of the content going on. (Like a television network that takes an educated gamble on selling a riskier show to advertisers may be willing to take a chance, but Youtube is trying to sell millions of videos at a time.)
