I might be looking at thisthrough rose colored glasses but I always thought the surgeries to look like her white mom we’re part of why she started adopting black style, especially after she started having black children. She got her first surgeries when she was in her teens, which is pretty common for ethnic surgeries like near Eastern/west Asian/Middle Eastern nose jobs. I always wondered if part of her adopting black style was kind of modeling beauty standards for her daughters in a way that would be the opposite of her being socially and culturally pressured to get work done to look like their white mom, A way of showing them, I don’t want you to feel like you have to change to look like me, your features and hair are perfect the way they are.
