YUP. I was basically infatuated with a 20/21 year old when I was 16/17 (I know the age gap isn't huge but there was still a power imbalance). We texted ALL the time but didn't date and when my parents found out they were furious and I remember my mom screaming at me through the phone calling me a stupid little girl. That drove me straight into his arms and I started actually dating him at age 19 for six years. Turns out he was angry, controlling, arrogant, and treated me like I was dumb half the time.

Finally screwed my head on straight at age 25 and we broke up a few weeks ago. Guess who needs therapy for probably the next few years ! ! ! ✨
