How about you learn about the city and not shitpost random links that don't show a correlation? Davao City is divided into multiple 'boroughs; that's the easiest word I can use to describe it to westerners.

Davao City- The downtown region where most crimes occur. Of course, the more dense an area is the higher its crime rate.

Davao del Sur- Province south of downtown that includes General Santos, a city father south, as well as the 'richer' part of Davao City. This is where I was born and raised. Crime is relatively low in this region

Davao del Norte- Province north of downtown that includes the island of Samal and Tagum City

Maybe do a search on google.ph, where you'll get local results. Duterte's overall approval rating is 76%, higher than the current PotUS and presidential candidates.

Davao City is one of the safest, fastest growing city on Mindanao and the Philippines. Do not judge an entire city based on two tables and a 3 paragraph article. The fact that all those tables and articles are in English already set off alarm bells in my head. I would expect them to be in Filipino or Tagalog, especially because it focuses on Mindanao.
