I disagree. No one will be correct 100% of the time, and I personally respect people who own up to their mistakes much more. Their honest acknowledgement of their errors makes me trust them as truth-seekers rather than people trying to win over an audience. Perhaps the general public is different than me in this respect, but I think BAR's audience (and whatever audience Trace might want to reach in the future) is more similar to me. After all, why would we pay $5 a month to people who try to uncover mistakes motivated by partisan brain-rot when we could just watch talking heads trying to paper over those mistakes for free on the news or read their takes for free on Twitter?
