Ringgar is collecting berries in the forest, when all of a sudden, he trips and falls down a hole, into your den. What will you do?

With a sigh of satisfaction, Robin brushed the last rune in place and sat back, cross-legged to admire his work. Before him a round pad of hard stone twice the size of a manhole cover laid flat on the floor of his apartment living room. Painted on in black were circles, runes, and symbols that had an arcane look to them. The circles and symbols were unnecessary, merely guidelines for the spirit of connections he was working with - his intent and will were guide enough, but going the extra mile never hurt, especially with something so delicate. The runes were only necessary for the sake of convenience. An enchantment directed by will to cut the spirit's connection to the physical world off when not needed, but still allowing it to remain anchored.

A grin spread on his face. Time to test it. Still cross-legged on the floor, he recalled the somatic and verbal queues necessary to activate the enchantment. With those in mind, he filled his words and actions with willpower and directed them at his new toy.

"Clap on!" He said to the tune of a catchy jingle from an old commercial, clapping twice.

The physical space above the pad blurred, rendering any sight beyond incoherent and twisted. He felt a vague tugging sensation, as if the space was pulling at him, and staring at it directly made his temples ache. Of course, he couldn't be sure it had worked, there were still a lot of experiments and safety measures to take before he would even dream of using it himself, still, it at least gave some appearance of working.

"Clap off." He said in time with the jingle, but before he could clap, suddenly a flash of grey tumbled through the blurred space and directly into his lap. He blinked. Sitting in his lap, back supported by one hand, legs support by his other, was a grey wolf, covered in what appeared to be rings of red and blue. Robin's ears twitched, unsure what emotion to react to.

"Uh--" He said with all of the eloquence and diction at his disposal.
