Alright I’ll tell you. Fine. The JW’s have a campus in New York. It’s where they print the Watchtower magazine they leave on your door. Any member on good standing can go to this campus and live there and be a part of that. You don’t get paid. You just work and be a JW. It’s kind of like Mormons going on a mission, but they all go to this campus instead of a neat other place. It’s definitely an organization, there are people in charge of this or that, but nobody is getting paid in the way the person I was responding to implied. There isn’t some head of the church getting fat cash. All the down to the local Kingdom Halls this is true. They don’t have preachers like other churches, they don’t tithe like other churches do. Those Kingdom Halls are funded by the organization. So the money they get goes to all these things. The only way individuals are making money off of the church followers is if they are gritting them independently from the church (which I’m sure happens once in a while).

This shit is a true blue cult. They aren’t fucking around. This isn’t like Christian churches or the Catholic Church where they enrich themselves, these fuckers believe this shit hard and are held to account within the organization...unless child rape and abuse is involved in which case they cover it up. That should be the outrage about JW’s, not some made up money bullshit.
