I doubt they'll be able to do much for you this early. The "better quality" stuff is likely going to be 18 or 16 gauge, which is a significant size change for brand new piercings (not so much for older ones). You were probably pierced with 20 or 22 gauge posts.

My advice, either take them out, let them heal, and have them redone by a professional piercer, or let them heal as they are. Guns get a bad rap but your ear isn't automatically going to fall off because they used one. Plenty of people have successfully healed gun piercings (and plenty have lost needle piercings).

Skip their aftercare solution, clean gently with saline or clean running water, and leave them alone otherwise.
