A user, name Droc contacted police with some information about the murders. Police take the information and ask him to submit DNA. He refuses this. That information is posted in a newspaper apparently - which is odd to me, but maybe they do things differently in Western Australia. Anyway, Droc joins the bigfooty forums and starts posting in this thread about the killings. A user, ExcaliburX starts looking deeper into Droc. Here is a summry by excaliburx:

I have been interested in the case since the CIA program was aired in 2008 that identified the two suspects. Then read DM book. Then looked at the blogs mentioned in the book. And so on. It was only when I saw that there were some developments in the press in December 2014 and January this year that I spent some spare time looking at the suspects in greater detail and joining this blog.

Initially focused on the martial arts expert, who is relatively easy to figure out. He knew both SS and JR, but where is the CG connection? Why did he lie about the associations? He fits the profile well and is local to Claremont, which might well explain the equidistance between the two known disposal sites. Still my pick.

The known sexual pervert was more difficult.

Looked into the claims made by Droc - including the taxi driver and the snuff movie / factory stuff.

Did suggest to Droc early on and as our discussion progressed that he provide all the information he claims to know (with evidence of course) about the CSK investigation and his suspicions to investigations outside of CSK (eg Ross at Baldivis) to the police rather than in a drawn out process online.

Obviously also had suspicions about Droc himself - given that he had been recently interviewed by plod and did not provide samples, that this was reported in the press along with the taxi driver allegation, and then in the following week its reported that a concerned member of the public called Dave, after 17 years with some inference that he already tried to contact the police earlier, reports a suspicious taxi on a Sunday morning during the month of CG murder near the Eglinton disposal site. Does anybody else here find all that a bit too convenient?

Then looking into the claims by Droc in greater detail online and finding the poems, stories, statutory declarations (including one deleted by Droc that identified the Myaree and Henderson addresses) and the Freo interview. All on google. Also the files Droc provided on this forum and other leads he wanted to push out to the public.

And then challenging Droc for the facts behind them and more about himself as someone recently interviewed about the investigation - which took some time but eventually mostly answered.

Also also looking into the disposal sites - real (Wellard and Eglinton) and claimed. And alibis and professions of the potential POI that we are aware of.

And trying to keep it fact-based - rather than indulging in speculation or wild theories that might be hurtful to the families involved. Something that goes on here a bit too much here.
