Well you might have some friends who aren't interested in the Hornet, but want to fly with you anyway. But that's cool because you can fly coop missions with the A-10 and the F-18 for example, that's the beauty of DCS.

Except you can't now if the F-18 pilots want to use the new carrier. A-10 pilots will have to buy a module they won't even use lol or the F-18 pilots will have to not use their expensive new carrier module.

Don't you, and ED, see how rediculous that is? I completely understand locking the features of the carrier DLC behind a pay wall. These things cost money to make so I understand charging people to use them. That makes sense. But to not even allow joining the server unless you have it? That's probably the most rediculous decision ED have ever made. You guys have basically locked not hornet pilots out of playing with their friends, unless their friends decide to not use the new carrier module they spent money on.
