First of all, these two comments (here and here) are basically the reasoning behind the warnings and explain it much better than me.

The removals were by automod, which confused the mod team as we never had configured it to remove posts like what dango posted.

The reason why I posted those warnings is because of dango's response to what happened. Instead of waiting, they kept posting over and over, leading to the mass flood seen over the past few days. This highlighted how much self-promotion (and self-promotion only) dango was doing.

Dismissing all criticism as bots and haters just hurts you.

I do apologize for only warning dango, when other video spammers (who make worse content) weren't warned.
