How did you guys end up being Clippers fans?

I was 9 years old during the 06 playoffs, the first time I really started watching the nba seriously. My brother had just been diagnosed with cancer so I pretty much was able to watch as many games as I wanted at home or in hospital waiting rooms. Main team I was rooting for was the Heat cause I was a Shaq fan, but still also rooting for the Lakers. After Lakers got bounced out the first round by the Suns I naturally rooted for the other LA team to avenge them, especially because my dad said Sam Cassell looked like Roger from American dad. From then on I was a fan of both. What made me fully switch was meeting a rookie Blake Griffin at a cancer charity event in 09 and seeing the crazy ass Laker fans in 2010.
