I’d say the most important thing for you is to get a decent flashlight. It helps to see building #’s. For apartments try to use the map if they have one. You’ll again need a flashlight to shine on them at night. Go to /r/flashlight for suggestions. It’s been asked about before.

Use the beans app. It doesn’t have the layout for all apartments but when it does it’s great. Sometimes I use this before I start my delivery and it will give me the building # when the customer did not leave one.

I prefer wearing pants, joggers, or khakis and a simple short sleeve button up. I believe appearance matters. You could look like you just got out of bed or lazy. And that’s what most drivers come off as. Customers have a bad image of sloppy drivers who may eat or touch some of their food.

Get a stapler for paper bags that are not sealed. Customers will appreciate this although they will never let you know. If items are missing or fries look less than usual. They usually wont put the blame on you the driver. They will think the restaurant sealed it and you did nothing to tamper with it.

You could have a secondary bag if you don’t have one yet. It helps with being confused during double orders and to keep each order hot.

I tried to list the order of importance above. Most of the other things you listed don’t matter as much. I have anxiety too and can hear it in your post. Sometimes customers will give you bad reviews because they are trying to scam and get free food. You can’t do anything about that but focus on what you can do. Could try listening to some podcasts or audiobooks on anxiety. Youtube has full audiobooks. If you are able to see a doctor I’d recommend to go if you haven’t. It can be a game changer for a lot of people. Feel free to message me anytime to talk or ask questions about ANYTHING. Don’t be afraid I know how it feels too.

Good luck friend.
