Also, I’m very aware of McD’s problems. Time management, getting away from the run, weird 3rd and shorts.
I know some people give him no slack, whatever.
But he’s got one of the hardest coaching situations in the league. Tua (don’t downvote I believe he can leap over this people) still struggles with reads and decision making. So he’s got Tua still making bone headed throws with playcalling that isn’t bad at all. And yes, Tua can learn from this I’m not a Tua hater.
He also has more drama in one year then must coaches in a life time.
He’s shown he learns from his mistakes. It’s aggravating sometimes but he does learn just not asap like people expect.
I agree he’s had a rough rookie season. But looks the overhaul of this offense. I’ll be real. He’s lost us some games. But the guy truly had had a bad hand. But man when it’s clicking, this offense reminds me of the rams greatest show on turf. This guys clearly the guru he was promoted as. It’s just not “working”. Give him a year to see his scheme alone won’t work. I don’t think he’s a stubborn assholes. I think eventually he’ll accept common sense over analytics and scheme.
Idk. I’m a little tipsy today after being on a boat for three weeks for work ( I work on large vessels). But I know it’s easy to look at the losing streak and blame him. But if someone can’t admit this guy has been dealt a major hardball of a rookie coach season, or that he’s “nice Gase”, idk what to say.
99% of coaches would have done worse this reason. Look how affected we all are. He’s the coach. The fact that he hasn’t lost this team speaks volumes.
Give him an off-season, let’s make the minor adjustments we can, and see how next year goes of this year sucks.
I believe in my gut. My gut tells me McDaniel is the guy.

I’ll say it again. He’s got a LOT of learning to do. But look at how fucking hard this season has been with drama and BS. He hasn’t lost the team. They really around him. This guy is special
