I just stumbled upon this and it seems to me that its being funded somehow. This seems way more than dedicated trolling. You connect it to human trafficking which is going to be even more of a PR issue (or not who knows?) for YT. When I first started learning about it....today really I thought it was a simple ploy to get views. It seems much darker now. I cannot even watch any of these videos in its entirety.

I give you props for trying to make sense of this all though. I am at a loss, but it is clearly not for the education or entertainment of children. At least not with the intention of providing "wholesome" content. As a parent this is terrifying.

My son had a bad habit of waking up very early in the morning to watch youtube. Rules have changed and remotes hidden etc, but it scares me to think he was exposed to this stuff for any period of time. I hope his desire to watch people game outweighed his love of marvel and disney characters.
