Poch really showed what a difference having two quality workhorses in midfield can do for a team. Matic, for all his great qualities, isn't a workhorse like Kante.

Kante isnt even a workhorse anymore he cannot defend or cope with the intensity in any big matches. Matic was our best player yesterday and was winning the ball back all game as well as picking up loose balls that Kante never does. They have technical players all over the pitch that is the difference and we choose to sit back because we cant keep the ball when we win it back anyway...

We relied too much on Kante or Matic and build up play to create something. Costa tried taking on defenders many times, but no help was ever available. Hazard and Pedro were poor. Hazard.... I don't know what is up with him. He just never got in the game. Pedro actually was handled perfectly by Danny Rose.

What? We relied too much on Matic and Luiz in our build up play because that is our system (the 3 CBs and the 2 midfielders are the players in the middle of the pitch). We rely on Matic too much and Luiz because Kante, Azpilicueat and Cahill cannot play on the ball. Costa was shit yesterday every time he got it his first touch was poor or he ruined 3 genuinely good counter attacking chances. He didnt try taking on defenders many times that is just a lie....

We were just INCREDIBLY wasteful going forward which has been a problem all season.

we literally had 1 genuine chance created by our own play (hazards chance at the start). the other chances were counter attack chances ruined by guess who - Diego Costa.
