Good point. I actually think if I saw this in nature I would not be scared. But I am an older millennial - almost gen x, really. Do you think folks would be scared in real life or is it more that it’s kind of fun to think it’s creepy? I honestly don’t know the answer. I hope that it’s more the result of fear as entertainment than an actual fear of anything out of the ordinary. But I am a parent and I sometimes meet parents much younger than me who seem very fearful about things that don’t even register as fearful for me. Tics, for example. I’ve heard parents say they won’t take kids outside for fear of them. That makes me deeply sad.
