I have no issue in discussion the capital expenditures of the government, but why do I feel like conservatives omit the fact that Bush era policies is what go us into this mess in the first place? That Obama inherited debt and the financial collapse on wall street recession when being sworn into office.

But to me, having national security is a way bigger issue than aborting or having feelings hurt.

Interesting, This seems to be the crux of this all. I find that I hear this sentiment allot when I communicate with Trump supporters. I think I understand what you mean here (obviously not exactly. As I am not conservative, and probably the exact opposite of you..So I guess I could never understand your position fully). But from my perspective, I feel that the hope that you long for, is common among conservatives alike. A feeling of returning to the status quo of the past. I just think that specifically what you long for, isn't something that Trump can bring back, even if he wanted too.

I feel like you guys are right to be angry about a lot of things, just like us on the left, but I feel like your anger is misguided. I feel that too often conservatives aren't mad enough at corporations & politicians who are partly the ones responsible for the positions that they are in. They seem to fixated on liberals or "the other" to be mad at. Liberals who mostly comprise of the most vulnerable and powerless people within the country. I pray that Trump does a decent enough job, because we are living in this country too. But just taking a look at his previous history (personally makes me skeptical).

Republicans control the House, The senate, and soon will obtain control of the Supreme Court, so I look forward to see what they will be able to do
